About the Shot: #VirtualReality is such a new thing and only recently have there been platforms to showcase this style of content. @brdfrd and I flew down to meet @matahidrollet in #Tahiti to try and pull off a couple ideas of shooting Spherical at #Teahupoo. We didn’t really know what was going to work or not, but we pulled off the most immersive #360 footage out there! With the footage of Brad going under the waves, to Matahi and I getting perfect single waves, and even to our double wave!
How the Shot was Captured: In the process of getting these shots, we lost 2 rigs, rode 12 waves, and we finally got the shot we wanted! The reactions on peoples faces after watching the footage is worth every wipeout and every second of the sleepless nights. Very proud to be about of this shoot and what we got with just a two-man team!! #GoPro #CES2016 #VR
