One cold evening in the Makgadikgadi pan in Botswana together with one of my incredibly skillful friends from the San people. The San people, also known as Bushmen, are members of various indigenous hunter-gatherer people of Southern Africa, whose territories span large portions of Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Please go to @mattiasklumofficial to see another view from this amazing country! The Makgadikgadi Pan, is a salt pan situated in the middle of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana. This is one of the largest salt flats in the world and it's all that remains of the formerly enormous Lake Makgadikgadi, which once covered an area larger than Switzerland, but dried up several thousand years ago. To work out here is great and to stay over night out in this arid wilderness listening to lions and spotted hyenas in a distance is nothing but spectacular!
