Every single creature we meet is a teacher.
This sweet boy became a constant observation of mine as I drank my morning tea for the past week.
I went to feed him and two others as often as I could but he didn't come close until the last day.
It was consistency, love and patience that installed the necessary trust in him to approach me and the delicious apples I had brought them almost everyday.

The lesson was clear. The teacher was him. All I had to do was, be open and accepting of the rhythm he chose for our dance and exchange.

He took the apple from my hand and horsed around for a bit until he decided to come back and take pictures with me.

I will remember him forever for he is a reflection of me and I of him.

Thank you "lightning" (that's what I decided to call him). We are now together forever!
