One of the reasons I practice Forrest Yoga is because it requires and emphasize relaxation of our neck. Traditional yoga postures often require extra neck strength to seek balance and will tighten our neck muscle in the long run. Not to mention the pressure we give our neck by staring at computers and smartphones every day. Therefore, in every posture, try to look down, close your eyes and fully relax your neck.
我喜歡練習forrest yoga的其中一個原因是學會放鬆頸部,很多傳統的瑜珈練習中,總是需要眼睛看高,脖子用力去找到平衡或加強動作難度,長時間這樣的練習會讓我們的肩膀和脖子承受更多的壓力,肌肉更收緊. 學會每一個動作都放鬆脖子,眼睛往下看,其實會感覺到整個肩膀和胸腔都打開了. 下次你也不妨試一下,每一個動作都放鬆脖子,閉上眼睛,去感受肩膀在釋放壓力.
