Why? Is it more complicated to tell a story through a video rather than a picture? A: Instagram has made some amazing updates to their video features, and we embrace new platform features when it makes sense. That said, to us (and to many people), Instagram is still predominantly a photo channel, so most of the content we post are images. ________________________________________Q: What strategies do you use to attract new Instagram followers and keep them engaged? A: It varies. We just finished our first Instagram takeover. The first week, three driver-partners across the U.S. took over our account to show how driving allows them to discover new parts of their city. In the second week, four riders took over to tell the other side of the story. Content themes do really well for us from an engagement perspective. It allows us to tell deeper stories while playing off existing themes (#WhyIDrive and #TakeMeThere, for example). I’m excited to dig into the results from our Instagram takeover as it’s the first time we’ve done a campaign as comprehensive as this.  ________________________________________Q: What are the features you like most on Iconosquare? A: We’re big fans of Iconosquare. It’s really helped us dig deeper on our Instagram presence and help us track our growth. My personal favorite features are the growth overview and the “best times to post” tracker. Both of these have helped as we optimize our strategy. The Iconosquare Index is another feature we check regularly. It gives us an overview on what’s happening on Instagram in general, and it’s a great resource to discover trends and learn from some of the best of the best.
