This is part of the job. Sometimes just getting to where I need to work means walking for days or weeks at a time. Or being the 2nd person since WWII to travel to the end of the Burma Road. Quite a exciting trip! We almost ate it once when we slid off the road - preparing to go over a cliff - luckily for us a rock stopped our back tire and our other Hi Lux winched us back on the road.
