About the shot: #GrimReaper - In the spirit of #Halloween we knew we wanted to put off the vibe for the shot that it was relatively deserted, so we found an overpass that also had a sandy riverbed underneath it.

How it was captured: This shot was really fun to attempt and complete. We knew that we were weren't going to show much detail in the actual costume, so we picked up a #StarWars robe from target, and we taped a cut pizza box to a hockey stick for the scythe. We started off trying to get the settings right by taking multiple test shots. Once we found the correct settings, we lit the candles, placing them evenly around the grim reaper using the #GoPro App, and placed another friend of ours behind the grim reaper holding a flash. I started the photo, had my friend press the flash to cast a shadow toward the camera, and then used a light from the front for about 2 seconds, to light up the grim reaper enough to show the #skull.
Settings: 10 second exposure / ISO 100 / GoPro color / native temp / low sharpness / polarizer filter
