This weekend, I'll play this famous and mysterious work for the first time in public. I admit this is a beautiful music, but frankly, I get tired with E-D#-E-D#-E, every time the main theme comes back. Why did Beethoven repeat it so many times without any variation? Does this theme suggest his secret lover, with whom he was so obsessed? Even if so, I'm not sure if the lady would be pleased to be called so persistently...? 「これは女の子が弾くものだ」、と勝手なイメージを抱き一度も弾いて来なかったこの曲を、ガチで勉強中。考えてみたらこれは女性にモテない39歳の男の失恋ソングですね。何度も出てくる「ミレ#ミレ#ミ」のテーマは、彼が恋した女性の事なのか、それにしても何でこんなにしつこく呼びかけるのか?でもその不器用さ(←ベートーヴェン様に超失礼!)が女心をくすぐるのかなぁ,などとこれまた勝手な想像しながら取り組むと面白くなってきました。
明日からのキセキ3公演で弾きます。??
