View of Terelj National Park from the porch of the Aryabal meditation center in Mongolia. The view more than made up for the half -hour hike straight up to the temple.

The park itself is popular with Mongolians as a weekend vacation spot, particularly because of its closeness to the main city of Ulaanbaatar, but primarily for its abundance of natural beauty. Me, I loved it because of all the baby yaks running around.
