This week we'll be sharing about Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. In the 1870s Jacob Elsas saw a need for cloth bags in homes and businesses, so he and Issac May founded what became the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill Company. While much of the cotton produced in the South was being shipped North, Elsas and May created a manufacturing industry for it right here in Atlanta.
