I don't always post my thoughts on IG. It's confronting because each time I do I get very extreme responses. I just want to post this from my snapchat today. Every time I look at my time line I see memes and posts about such misinformed expectations from either side of men and women. These don't serve anyone and they perpetuate the gap between men and women. The result is that a lot of people are alone. We are dismissing one another based upon the wrong things and I think it's time we all make an effort to understand the frequency of the words we put out and stop shaming one another. We are all more alike than we are different and we are all looking for the same basic human things in different ways, let's try to focus on that and reconnect so we can build families that aren't as broken as the ones a lot of us come from. That's really the root of the majority of the distrust at the end of the day, isn't it?
