Steady E/NE winds off of the US #EastCoast will result in building windswell over the next several days. Tropical Storm #Ida remains ENE of the #Caribbean and is expected to be nearly stationary through the end of the week. A pulse of mid period ENE swell from Ida will filter in for exposed Caribbean breaks through mid-week. ESE/SE swell is expected to filter in for the East Coast later in the week, however unfavorable local winds may continue to be an issue and it is possible that continued local windswell will be more dominant than the Ida swell.
