Photo @lucalocatelliphoto The energy revolution is happening in Germany. Here we are in a former coal mine area; which turned into motocross track and surrounded by wind turbines. Located in the North Westphalia close to Cologne and Dusseldorf, it is one of the richest state in Germany. This kind of landscape shows how Germany is really engaged with their energy transition plan. Germany wants to shut down all the nuclear power plants and coal mining areas and produce 80% of their energy needs through renewable energy by 2050.
