The Isle de Jean Charles Road in Montegut, #Louisiana in August 2012. The photographer @frankrelle has thought a lot about water — specifically how it has both sustained Louisiana and dealt it cataclysmic setbacks, first with Hurricane #Katrina in 2005 and then the BP oil spill in 2010. These disasters irreversibly changed his way of looking at the world and inspired his photo project, “Until the Water.” This #nytweekender, we’ll be sharing more of @frankrelle’s long-exposure nocturnal photos, which were featured on the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ #lensblog.
