Today is the last day at the Museum for our esteemed #BKMAmericanart curator Terry Carbone. We'll very much miss Terry and the extremely important role she has played here since joining the Museum in 1985. Today we honor her with her favorite work in the collection, one of the most striking portraits by the leading New York painter #WilliamMerrittChase, of his talented student and later the successful portrait painter #LydiaFieldEmmet.
