Today, three students from Kings Park High School in Suffolk County, Long Island accepted a $2,500 reward for their first place win in the business plan competition for Junior Achievement of New York. The goal of the competition was for students to gain real-world business experience and use teamwork to develop an effective business strategy. The winning idea is named ‘Hello, Let’s Go!’ and its mission is to provide international college students with a way to become more involved with their area by providing a domestic tour bus to help them travel and become immersed in American culture from an insider’s point of view.
