#FlagDay fact #3: The Star-Spangled Banner flag was displayed at the Smithsonian before World War II. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, plans were made to protect the @スミソニアン博物館's most precious objects. The flag and many other treasures were crated up and sent to Luray, Virginia, for safekeeping.
