Since 2011, there have been nine Postcards projects around the country involving nearly twenty photographers from Magnum Photos. The tenth chapter, in Portland, has been an exploration of photography and social practice, made in conjunction with the Art and Social Practice MFA program at Portland State University. #postcardsfromamerica

On the project’s last night, photographers Susan Meiselas, Jim Goldberg, Alec Soth, Bieke Depoorter, Peter van Agtmael and Donovan Wylie will share their work at the Newspace Center for Photography. This is ONE NIGHT ONLY exhibition. Saturday, May 30th, 7:30 – 10:00pm.

There will also be Postcards From America panel discussion at the Portland Art Museum. Friday, May 29th, 4:30 – 6:00pm.
