The chef @guysavoy is moving his signature restaurant to a grand space that houses both the oldest institution in France and the oldest factory in #Paris: @monnaiedeparis — the French mint. @edalcock spent a few hours at the restaurant on assignment for @nytfood on a rainy day at the end of April. When shooting restaurants, he said, he prefers to work in the kitchens. “Restaurants are pretty hectic places, so I find the best way to work is to just watch the action unfold in front of you, and to be ready to catch those beautiful little details that tell the story.”
