Boblo Island Amusement Park was located just above the mouth of the Detroit River on Bois Blanc Island, Ontario. It was famous for its two “Boblo Boats,” the SS Ste. Claire and the SS Columbia, which serviced it for more than 85 years. With a capacity of 2,500 each, arcade games, clubs & dancing, many people will tell you that one of the best and most anticipated parts of visiting Boblo was riding these ferry boats.
