We are right in the middle of a Japanese holiday week, “Golden week"! And today is one of a national holidays called “Children’s Day”.
We put “Koinobori”, a carp-shaped cloth streamers on a tall pole during the holidays to wish the children in the family will grow to be courageous and to be strong as a carp.
