Hey howdy hey fellow art lovers, @richburnsred_art here with an awesome non Instagram related artist.
This phenomenal Octopus sculpture is by the immensely talented artist Ellen Jewett. Ellen refers to her sculptural work as “natural history surrealist sculpture,” a blend of plants, animals, and occasionally human-made structures or objects.
She states on her website "Plants and animals have always been the surface on which humans have etched the foundations of culture, sustenance, and identity. For myself, natural forms are a continual source of fascination and deep aesthetic pleasure."
Well thanks to her interest in these themes, she has certainly created things that are aesthetically pleasing to us too!
Although she does not have Instagram, if you check out her website www.ellenjewettsculpture.com, there are many hi-res images of her beautiful work. It is so worth the look....trust us!!
