Inspiration , when it comes it comes like a thunder storm. I hand an inkling of an idea , a new way to paint with the undertone of "less is more"
As you know if you have followed me for some time often my goal is to allow the painting to lead me. I focus on not letting there be any inherent value until it's completed, this way it happens naturally. ⚡️⚡️Thunder & lighting⚡️⚡️
If you were to go back through my Instagram say about 5 weeks you would see me playing with pouring color fields , onto a surface. That surface later spilled over to the table and on to the paper . The paper is the same paper I ripped off the table when the lighting hit! So if you look closely you will see the drips and splatters in the right hand corner of the paper !! There is also notes and ideas scribbled on the paper . ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️
