Evan, Senior Captain: One flight that sticks out in my mind is when I flew the last Airbus flight to Rome before it changed to a Boeing route. We landed on New Year’s Eve. Once we landed, we decided that we needed to celebrate in style. Where? The Spanish steps of course. Imagine a table of 22 cabin crew from all corners of the world, ringing in the New Year each time it passed midnight – in each of our own counties back home. It’s certainly the first time I’ve toasted the New Year every hour or so. It made me realize that no matter where you are in the world, surrounding yourself with great company always leads to memorable celebrations. #cathaypacific #crewdiaries
