Meet Shaw’s Fuzzy Friends Bella, a black tortoiseshell English Angora rabbit. The New York Times Magazine sent the artist Andres Serrano to photograph this bunny and other fuzzy friends at the National Angora Show — for some, the equivalent of Westminster. Among other things, the rabbits are judged on the color of their toenails, their wool and their body type. The ideal, for an English Angora like this one, is somewhere “between a cantaloupe and a basketball,” a veteran judge told the writer Jon Mooallem. “The rabbits were good subjects,” said Andres, whose typical subjects are not #bunnies. “They didn’t move much. They’re professionals.”
