Thanks to the @cafoundation grants being distributed I am able to purchase one of these awesomely expensive boats and work towards my dream of competing in my 3rd sport of sprint kayaking at the @リオ五輪2016 #Paralympics! As a relatively broke college student the #CAFGrant provided me the resources I needed to purchase my first basketball wheelchair AND part of my first sitski. I went on to get my education paid for through athletic scholarships at two universities (Bear Down/Roll Tide), I've had the honor of traveling the world competing and representing the United States in more countries than I can count including 4 Paralympic Games, and I was lucky/blessed/fortunate enough to become the first female American to win Gold medals in both the summer and winter games. Not to brag, just saying that with the right amount of support (and it takes a lot) from people that truly believe in the possibilities, anything can happen! My biggest thanks to everyone at the Challenged Athletes Foundation for what you do, you're making a huge difference. #TeamCAF #grateful
