Before big auditions, I always try to eat minimal, make sure I have a perfect pair of pointe shoes and a perfect bun, and choose the best leotard for that audition. I also get there about an hour early, sometimes more depending on the audition, so I have enough time to warm up. I prepare several weeks before auditions so I don't forget anything. For performances, Mr. Ellison taught me that I must do what I need to do in order to get myself in a calm place. For me, that means listening to music, making sure my body is warm, and getting the adrenaline going. My special good luck charm is my gold love knot ring that I wear on my left hand; it means a lot to me and I rarely ever take it off. ?? Remember ! 1 like = 1 vote ??
