One of today's exercises was the glute bridge / hip thrust. It's a really effective exercise designed to activate & target the glutes. Olly makes me elevate the front part of my feet to ensure the weight is driven up through my heels which isolate the glutes and takes the emphasis away from my quads. Between sets he also made me foam roll & stretch my hip flexors & my quads with the aim of switching them off to allow for better glute activation.
I'm expecting severe DOMS tomorrow but it's worth it for those GLUTES that SALUTE! ?
