this was taken at the first @vanswarpedtour that we ever did in 1999. we were so determined to stand out on stage, so we would bring trampolines and all sorts of stupid shit with us - anything we could find that we thought was weird or funny. the trampolines were fun but also very painful. jumping off of those things onto a hard stage holding that heavy @gibsonguitar les paul every night used to destroy me. it hurt my knees and my back, but we still did it every night for a few years. we were obviously working on a budget in those days so we grabbed whatever we could that was cheap and throw it on stage to look like we had a production. #41archives
