A lot of early opportunities came because I was active on Tumblr. I was angsty at a really boring job and I put that out there. People liked it and started asking me to do readings and then I would get published somewhere. One thing led to another, it all grew organically. Now I can see myself doing all of the things that I always wanted to do. I have shows coming up where my portraits and collages will be displayed in museums, a book of my writing is coming out, and many other things that I previously didn’t have time for are now attainable, which is exciting."
