Photo by @Tim Laman on assignment with NatGeo Expeditions in Antarctica. A blowing and lunging Fin Whale on a windy day off Elephant Island. As the wind blew 45 knots, we watched from our ship as literally dozens of Fin Whales, the second largest whale species in the world (after the Blue), fed on krill in these rich waters.
