"This image of #CateBlanchett is another favorite from last year. Backstage at the #Oscars I find myself delicately maneuvering around the most talented actors and musicians while dangling three cameras on my shoulders and trying not to be noticed like a game of Operation. At one point the backstage was so crowded I took a chance and left the pack and came across this moment. Cate had walked into this room, locked eyes on her family and lit up with a huge genuine smile. I only had a second to compose and shoot one frame before everyone rushed her. This area quickly filled up with winners celebrating as I shot alone capturing iconic moments. It was over as quickly as it started like a fireworks finale, and so was my night."
