DEXPISTOLSファンクラブ関係者音楽業界関係者各位突然のお知らせにて大変恐縮ではございますが、我々DEXPISTOLSは2015年1月末日をもちまして無期限活動休止を決定致しました。理由としましては、近年お互いソロ活動も活発になり個々の今やるべきことに集中することが、次なるステップに進む方法だと考えるに至りました。約10年に渡り活動してきた我々ですが、皆様のサポートのもと幸運にも数々の音楽に携わることが出来ました。ただ自分達が楽しむ為にスタートしたDEXPISTOLSではございましたが、海外も含め多くの方々に賛同して頂いたのは本当に感謝の限りです。楽しいことも苦しいことも数多くありましたが、何か一つのカタチを残せたと今は素直にそう思えております。今後もお互い別々の方法ではございますが、何かを表現し続けるつもりですので、ご興味のある方はもうしばしお付き合い頂けると幸いです。最後に、まだまだ日本のダンスミュージック、そしてクラブカルチャーは進化していくと強く感じております。それを信じつつ、やるべきことを各々淡々とやっていくつもりでございます。長年我々のわがままにお付き合い頂き、誠にありがとうございました。またいつの日か皆様にDEXPISTOLSとして出会えることを心より願いつつ。 2015年2月2日 DEXPISTOLS (DJ DARUMA & DJ MAAR) (English) Dear DEXPISTOLS fans and everyone in club/music scene, Here we would like to announce that DEXPISTOLS decided to go on an indefinite hiatus as of January 31st 2015. As there have been more and more individual projects, we came to a conclusion that right now to focus on what we should do individually is to bring us to a next step. It's been 10 years since we started - thanks to all of your support and love, we were able to be involved in many different music. Although we merely started DEXPISTOLS to entertain ourselves, we are so grateful that we got so many supports not only from Japan but all over the world. There have been so many ups and downs in the past, but now we can proudly say we have left something in the scene. It will be in separate ways but both of us will still be engaged in expressing something and it would be great if you could watch us keep going. Last but not least, we strongly believe Japanese dance music and club culture have much potential to evolve in the coming future. By believing so, we will keep doing what we need to do individually.
