We've all read about climate change, and to some degree we understand the basics. We all have questions about what we can do, but because some of us don't feel directly affected by it, it seems easy to avoid any kind of engagement. I was recently reading about the Sahel, and the severity in which this region will experience climate change in the near future. There is a goal, a solution, which is ultimately to help create sustainability and resilience while facing climate change, but this is a grand endeavor and it requires our help. This has to be a collective effort as it's beyond adaptation, beyond a simple awareness of facts and statistics. How do you prepare a community for this? How can they prepare so that they have reserves? If they rely on the consistency of nature, they won't survive. We MUST be strategic in creating a better world, so I’m supporting @Heiferinternational in their efforts in the Sahel.
