The Warriors suffered their first loss of the season to a sub-.500 team tonight, falling to the Lakers 115-105 in Los Angeles. Playing their second game in as many nights, the Dubs didn’t have the legs to keep up with an inspired Lakers squad that snapped Golden State’s 27-game streak of holding their opponent to under 50 percent shooting from the field. Stephen Curry notched 22 points and six assists, while Klay Thompson added 18 points of his own, but the Dubs’ comeback simply ran out of time. The loss drops the Warriors record to 23-4 on the season, still best in the NBA. They’ll look to get back on track on Thursday when they face off against the rival Clippers in primetime on Christmas Day.
