These men and women are up at 4am, on the mountain just after 6 am, and off again at 5pm. Avalanche control work, medical rescues, and keeping the mountain safe for guests keeps them busy all day. "It's like a family up here," patroller Jen Calder says about working with her team. "It's not really about how you spend your time so much as who you spend your time with."
