If this sends you into a frenzy because it's wildly offensive and you refuse to believe it, or be guilty for historic events that you aren't responsible for... there are still people being killed. Why would any of us want to defend a death rather than support a life? There are dead kids and men and women who shouldn't be. So the most compassionate thing you can do for yourself and the grieving communities out there is STOP. Take a moment. And just see how much you can allow a different point of view to settle in your mind, out of respect for those who are dead. You won't offend your parents or your friends. See if you can think it privately for a moment without sending me some comment cause I'm just not reading them on this one.
