J26, otherwise known as Mike, is one of the larger members of the J Pod in Salish Sea. The southern resident orca pods are made up of the J, K, and L pods and live year round in Puget Sound and southern British Columbia waters. They are called resident orcas because they are only fish eaters and form very social and large family pods.
