"By the time we reached the summit of #TableMountain the jagged rocks had cut open our golden retriever's paw pads badly enough that she couldn't make the trek back. Thankfully @eppwest and his #backpack made for a great rescue bag to help carry Zoe down the #mountain. A huge thank you to Riley for getting our girl home safely! We've cleaned and bandaged her paws and they're healing quite quickly." While our packs weren't designed or built to carry pups, sometimes a little improvisation is necessary to help a friend (four-legged, in this case) in need.
