It's time to resume our #MuseumOfTheFuture tour of the Museum's gallery spaces. This is a picture of a rather empty Room 30 – the Sainsbury Exhibitions Gallery. Opened in March 2014, it is the Museum's first purpose-built temporary exhibitions gallery. At over 1,000 square metres, the gallery provides a space comparable to other UK and international institutions. It's part of the World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre. Our #VikingExhibition was the inaugural show between March and June 2014. #Ming50Years is currently on display until 5 January 2015.
