Enjoyed this #fireworks show at the #APEC Leaders’ Meeting Welcome Dinner on Monday. We sat outside the Cube (where the Olympic swimming and diving events were held) facing the National Stadium (aka the Bird’s Nest). The meeting was fruitful. We agreed to study a Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific (FTAAP). It will draw all our economies closer, and foster peace and stability in the region.
My thanks to President Xi Jinping for being an excellent host and to China for its generous hospitality. Now in Nay Pyi Taw, #Myanmar, for the ASEAN Summit. - LHL (Photo by me)
