Completely smashed legs today. Only a few pounds up from stage weight. Feeling nice and full with sodium and water back in me. Today was a different kind of workout. There was no pressure for my next competition. Just simply lifting with a lot more energy and my motivation is back! For awhile there I started resenting the gym because I was running off of low calories and in the gym 3 x per day for 3 years non stop. I knew I needed a break mentally and after 3 years of consistent competing about once per month for the last 3 years it was time. "Offseason" or takin a break doesn't mean I'm going off my diet or I'm going to stop working out. It's about still keeping my diet 90% and workouts at least 5 x per week. Making gains and improving on certain body areas. But now I get them cheats!?? This is my life and my everyday routine. Bodybuilding and eating healthy is the most amazing thing anyone can ever experience. Yes there is a lot of challenges but it's in a GOOD way. You learn who you really are and what you are capable of! You learn a lot about balance and who your true friends are. You find yourself as a person. Most people will never do what it takes to find out who they truly are. Excuses and laziness is what sets the dreamers and the dream catchers apart. Embrace your life. Catch your dreams! And most of all always believe in yourself and stay true to who you are no matter what!? #Bodybuildingismylife
