As we speak, @ザ・ノースフェイス climbing team is about half way up Hkakabo Razi and doing well despite the incessant snow. Hard to imagine that just over a week ago we were here on this bridge - walking 120 miles through the hot humid jungle and wrangling porters from every village along the way due to the lack of trekking infrastructure. From basecamp, I am trying desperately via long-range radio to recruit these strong porters to return in a week.
