PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にlimArt/Postがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。本日はその中から「PARIS MORTEL retouche」をご紹介いたします。
オランダの写真家ヨハン・ファン・デル・クーケンの代表作のひとつとなる写真集です。
彼は17歳当時に同世代の友人たちを被写体とした「17歳」という写真集で知られ、20代前半には映画監督へと転身しました。
そのため写真集については寡作な写真家としても知られています。
表紙には今作のオリジナル版の見開きをそのままレイアウトし、前半部分には同時期に撮影されたがオリジナル版には収録されなかったショットも収録されています。

At PORTER STAND we carry photobooks selected by limArt/POST under a concept of "TRIP".
Among the selections, today we would like to introduce "PARIS MORTEL retouche".
This is one of the masterpieces of Johan van der Keuken, a photographer from Holland.
First he was well known by his photobook "We are 17", taking photos of his friends when he was 17 at that time. He changed to a movie director in his early 20's.
So regarding his photobooks, he is well known as an unprolific photographer. On the front cover there is the original edition printed, and on the first part there are some photos that were not in the original edition.
We have the actual books in store.
