A street sellers sells novelty goods along the Blackpool Illuminations in #Blackpool, north west #England on October, 19, 2014. The illuminations, an annual event since their first switch on in 1879 stretch along the sea front for 6 miles (10 km) and use over one million bulbs. They were first installed in an attempt to extend the holiday season from late August until early November at a time when most other English seaside resorts' seasons are coming to an end.
