PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にlimArt/Postがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。本日はその中から「Iwao Yamawaki」をご紹介いたします。
ドイツのバウハウスへ道子夫人と日本人として初めて留学をした山脇 巌。留学中は建築とフォトモンタージュなどを習得し、日本に帰国後はデザイン学校や建築の面で大きな功績を残しています。
本書は彼が留学中に撮影した写真をまとめたモノグラフです。
当時のドイツの潮流に影響を受けながらオリジナリティのある写真作品を丁寧な編集とともに収録しています。

We carry photobooks selected by limArt/Post under a concept of "TRIP" at PORTER STAND.
Among the selections, today we would like to introduce "Iwao Yamawaki".
Iwao Yamawaki and his wife Michiko was the 1st Japanese to study abroad at Bauhaus in Germany.
He has studied photomontage and architecture while he was there, and have made great achievements at Design Schools and in the world of architecture.
This book is a monograph, gathering up the photos he took while he was in Bauhaus.
Swimming with the stream of Germany at that time, his photos still has originality.
