The #supra (feast table) is one of the cornerstones of Georgian life. The feast are held for weddings, funerals, ceremonies after death, first birthdays, and more. Communities gather around long narrow tables piled high with plates that are often stacked on top of each other 3 layers deep. A toast-master or #Tamada leads those gathered through the meal with elaborate toasts to god, angels, saints, the departed, women, oxen and most other things you can imagine!
