On 15 September, #DSWT Pilot Neville Sheldrick was on patrol and spotted an iconic #Tsavo bull clearly in agony. He had been struck by a poison arrow and faced a slow and agonizing death. Neville raised the alarm and the DSWT/KWS Tsavo Veterinary Team sprung to action to save this bull's life.
Thanks to the combined efforts of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Kenya Wildlife Service, the #elephant's life was spared and he faces a bright future roaming free in Tsavo. More at www.dswt.org
