Happy birthday to Elsa #Schiaparelli. The irreverent Italian #fashion designer was born today in 1890. Acknowledged by her contemporaries as the style arbiter of the 1930s, Schiaparelli donated her clothing archive to the @フィラデルフィア美術館 in 1969 and was the subject of a retrospective and catalogue here in 2003.
