This week's #throwbackthursday comes from #LP staffer Joe Shepherd. Longboat Key in #Sarasota, #Florida may not be the most exotic of locations, but for a ten-year-old from the middle of the country in 1978, the beach and ocean were inspiring, and a little scary, especially when a school of stingrays brushed past his leg one day. Mostly though, the trip was spent building sandcastles and feeding cheese puffs to the gulls. #TBT #USA
